Charlotte is a 1997 Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg, Virginia, having double majored in Philosophy and French. After working at the American Bar Association in Washington, D.C., she returned to her birthplace of Albuquerque, New Mexico in 2002 to attend law school.
Charlotte graduated cum laude from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2005, receiving the Honorable Pete Domenici Award recognizing excellence in environmental law, among other honors. As a law student, she was a dean’s list and honor roll recipient and served as a research assistant. She also received a public interest summer fellowship to support an internship with Defenders of Wildlife and spent a summer as an intern at the Department of Justice.
Upon graduation, Charlotte began her legal career as an associate attorney at Kennedy & Han, concentrating on civil rights and plaintiffs’ personal injury cases. After spending several years at a small general practice law firm gaining additional civil litigation experience, she decided to return to plaintiffs’ work, joining the Fine Law Firm as an associate in May 2012. Charlotte is a member of the State Bar of the New Mexico and the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association.
